We scoured big box stores and the internet for a natural gas fireplace for our deck. Some are way too expensive. Some are too tiny. Some use propane tanks which can run out and ruin the evening. Some are too tall (because of the propane tank storage), warming only your face.

This one hit the sweet spot for us. It is priced well. It is big enough for 6 people around it and ideal for just the two of us. We bought an extension hose and swap the connection with our natural gas grill when we use it.

When we placed the order, the website seemed a bit dodgy. I've never heard of New Vision Living. A day after we placed the order, they called and told me their supply was delayed but we could cancel at any time until the unit actually ships. They indicated a few alternatives that were ready to ship, but we decided to wait. We received it a few weeks later.

It was well packed and undamaged. Setup was a breeze and we had it lit within an hour of unboxing. The flame is the right size, the heat is perfect, and the look is amazing. The cover does not perfectly match our deck, so, well, there is that negative. It came with touchup paint and a chip repair kit. I doubt I'll have to use either.
